Royal Document Destruction Earns PCI DSS Compliance
Shredding Industry Leader Also Receives Several Other Awards
————-
Columbus, Ohio, September 14, 2011 — Royal Document Destruction has again raised the bar of excellence of the shredding services they provide by announcing that the company has earned the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS) compliance. This verifies that both the Columbus, Ohio and Cincinnati, Ohio Royal Document Destruction shredding locations meet the stringent and comprehensive requirements set by the PCI Security Standards Council.
Royal Document Destruction prides itself on its level of commitment in offering the most secure shredding services available in the industry. To achieve PCI Compliance, Royal Document Destruction passed a rigorous audit of the physical security practices including policies and procedures, visitor logs, alarms, surveillance cameras, shred procedures and more, to ensure compliance with the PCI DSS standards.
The PCI DSS Compliance is in addition to the company’s NAID Certification, which they also maintain. The National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) is the overseeing body of the shredding industry and also audits businesses yearly on every aspect of their business to ensure that NAID Certified companies meet the highest industry standards set by this governing organization. Royal Document Destruction was the first shredding company in Ohio to achieve certification from NAID.
Royal Document Destruction found out in August that they will be recognized on the 2011 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing privately held businesses in the country. It is the second year in a row to appear on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list.
Finally, Business First has recognized Royal Document Destruction as one of the fastest growing businesses in Central Ohio for the fifth year in a row. This award measures growth on a year-over-year basis. The award ceremony for the Fast 50 will take place in October of this year.
