Royal Document Destruction has the highest level of certification and compliance as established by NAID, the overseeing body of our industry, at both our Columbus, Ohio and Cincinnati, Ohio shredding operations, as well as with all document destruction completed on our mobile shred trucks. Our company is certified by NAID, as well as bonded and insured with almost 25 years of experience.
Royal Document Destruction is a certified member of the National Association of Information Destruction (NAID ®) provider for both in-plant and mobile shredding services. This means, since 2002 Royal Document Destruction holds the highest possible security certification in the information destruction industry. This certification, determined by the NAID, requires that Royal Document Destruction complete a rigid, 26-step analysis of its security procedures and is audited (randomly and unannounced) throughout the year separately at both our Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio facilities.
Responsibility of NAID
NAID is the international trade association for companies providing information destruction services. NAID’s mission is to promote the information destruction industry and establish the standards and ethics of its member companies.
The NAID Certification Program establishes standards for a secure destruction process including such areas as operational security, employee hiring and screening, the destruction process, responsible disposal and insurance.
If a NAID member operates in multiple locations, each location must pass the audit to be certified. NAID members who receive certification must specify the location certified in company literature when referencing the NAID Certification Program. Both of our Ohio shredding facilities meet or exceed all NAID certification requirements.
