Royal Document Destruction is incredibly honored to announce that our company has been awarded the “2024 Business of The Year” by Central Ohio Crime Stoppers!
Royal Document Destruction has partnered with Central Ohio Crime Stoppers, NBC Channel 4, and other local businesses for the last several years to help facilitate a community shred day on a Saturday each spring at our secure Gahanna paper shredding facility. Residents from throughout Central Ohio are encouraged to bring in their personal boxes of bags of confidential papers, stay in their car, and easily drive thru and drop off their material for secure, guaranteed and same day shredding. The cars are all unloaded by Royal Document Destruction employees, local police and a host of wonderful Crime Stoppers volunteers, so the work is all done for the customers for great ease and security. Columbus residents are only asked to make sure that the bags or boxes of confidential papers are only paper – no media, floppy disks, photos, x-rays, trash or other contaminants.
The spring Crimestoppers Shred Day helps Columbus residents securely dispose of their confidential information, and all money raised goes directly to Crime Stoppers programs, such as funding the tip hotline. Crime Stoppers takes calls from anyone with information about an unsolved crime or a wanted person. Information which results in the apprehension of a felony suspect qualifies the caller for a cash reward as determined by the Central Ohio Crime Stoppers Board. Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Madison, Pickaway and Union Counties are all part of this program.
Since 2021, this partnership of Royal Document Destruction, NBC 4, Crime Stoppers and other corporate sponsors have helped to raise over $41,000, unloaded over 2,000 cars and shredded over 128,000 pounds of paper.
Royal Document Destruction is very honored and humbled to have been named Central Ohio Crime Stoppers Business of the Year for 2024!
